To implement Los Angeles Archdiocesan policies and procedures in matters of child and youth protection and provide training for parish staff and volunteers in compliance with policies.

Beginning November 1, 2017, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles began utilizing the VIRTUS system, along with over 90 other dioceses.  You can access the system using the link below. Volunteers who were previously registered on the Shield the Vulnerable website were merged into VIRTUS, and there is no need to re-register.  You should log into your profile to verify that all of your information transferred correctly.
